Eric Dempsey,  one of Ireland’s  leading bird experts, visited our school on Tuesday, 13th February. He brought the world of birds alive through hands-on workshops that included looking at lots of  feathers as well as some of wonderful photos – they were interesting for both pupils and teachers. The knowledge and interest in birds shown by the pupils made a huge impression on Mr. Dempsey.
